Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi (ハイ!ハイ!パフィー・アミユミ Hai! Hai! Pafī AmiYumi) is an American-Japanese animated fantasy-comedy television series created by Sam Register for Cartoon Network. It premiered on November 19, 2004 and December 25, 2009, with a total of seasons and episodes. The series was produced by Renegade Animation in Glendale, California and Cartoon Network Studios in Burbank, California.
The show focuses on an animated/fictionalized setting of the real-life J-pop group Puffy AmiYumi.
During its run, the series has been nominated for an Annie Award three times. The series has developed a strong cult following. Merchandise based on the series has also been produced during its run, such as video games, home media releases, toys, and clothing.

Premise[]
Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi is a television series that follows on two pop stars and best friends: Yumi Yoshimura and Ami Onuki, both based on the real-life Japanese pop duo Puffy AmiYumi with different appearances and exaggerated personalities. Whereas the duo are known to sing as primary front-women for the band in real life, the Puffy AmiYumi are presented as rock stars and play instruments onstage.
